How often are TMT steel prices updated?
Prices are updated by dealers directly on the platform. Verified dealers update at least every 72 hours to maintain their Verified badge. City-level pages refresh every 5 minutes from our server cache, so what you see is current.
Are the prices on CoreJoint guaranteed?
Prices shown are indicative rates sourced from dealers. Actual prices at time of purchase may vary slightly based on quantity, delivery distance, and market conditions. Always confirm the final price with the dealer before placing an order.
How do I find dealers in my city?
Go to any city price page (e.g. /prices/tmt-steel/mumbai) to see dealers active in that city. You can also browse the Find Dealers section to search and filter by location. Each dealer card shows their prices, verification status, and contact details.
What does the Verified Dealer badge mean?
A Verified badge means the dealer has updated their prices within the last 72 hours. It signals that their listed prices are current and they are actively managing their presence on CoreJoint. Verified dealers tend to respond to quotes faster.
How do I post a quote request?
Click "Get Free Quotes" in the navigation or visit /rfq. Fill in your material requirements — grade, diameter, quantity, city, and contact details. Your request goes to relevant dealers in your city who can then send you their quotes.
Is CoreJoint free to use for buyers?
Yes. Browsing prices, viewing dealer information, and posting quote requests are all free for buyers. CoreJoint does not charge any commission on transactions.
How do I list my business as a dealer?
Visit /portal/dealer/register to create a free dealer account. You'll be able to list your city, the brands you stock, and your current prices. Once your prices are live, buyers in your area can find and contact you.
Which cities does CoreJoint cover?
CoreJoint currently covers 20+ cities across India including Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, and Surat. We're expanding to more tier-2 cities continuously.
Which TMT steel grades does CoreJoint cover?
We track prices for all major TMT grades — Fe415, Fe500, Fe500D, Fe550, and Fe550D — across diameters from 8mm to 32mm. The most commonly quoted grades are Fe500 and Fe500D, which are used in most residential and commercial construction.
Can I track price trends over time?
Price history charts are available on city and state pages, showing how TMT prices have moved over the past 30 and 90 days. This helps you time your purchase when prices dip.
